How do I get to EFI Church?
EFIC is located on the southeast side of Elkhart Indiana just minutes from the 80/90 toll road and just off of C.R. 17. You'll find that EFIC is easily accessible from anywhere you call home. Click here for a map and directions.
What can I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you enter into the Sanctuary Entrance door, you'll be made to feel right at home. Our amazing greeting team will be poised and ready to give directions or answer any questions you may have. If you have children, you can check them as you enter through the Sanctuary Entrance door then turn immediately to the right down the hall to the children’s church area.
As you enter the Sanctuary where the worship service is taking place, our greeters will welcome you, hand you our information-filled brochure and our ushers will be able to direct you to your seat if you need help. Then you can take part in a powerful and free worship service!
If you have any questions before or after the service, visit our Guest Services where you will also receive a free gift bag designed just to bless you.
What is unique about a EFI Church service?
Whether it is your first time at EFIC, or you've been attending for years, you never know what to expect during our services. From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we are committed to a creative, compelling and challenging presentation of God's truth.
The worship music starts the service, featuring cutting-edge worship and allows the spirit of God to flow freely as we begin to honor the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Then our Senior Pastor, Jack Smith, presents the Gospel in a way that speaks to today’s culture. Using a no-holds-barred communication style that is open and honest, he focuses on how to apply Christ’s teachings and power to your life, so we each can experience God’s incredible plan for our lives.
Where do I take my children?
You'll find first-class programs for your children, from birth through 11 years of age (see the next question for information on our Jr. and Sr. High ministries). Our Nursery, located just as you enter into the building on your right, offers a warm, colorful, and caring environment for your precious little ones, with rooms designed for each stage of development. Your child will experience crafts, Bible stories, music, puppet shows and group interaction.
Your girls and boys will experience church like never before, with the latest games, music and video, created to present God's truth in fun and innovative ways. They won't want to miss a single service.
Do you have any programs for students?
Yes. The main program for the Jr. and Sr. High Ministry (ages 12 and up) is called Wildfire. Wildfire takes place every Sunday night @ 6:00 p.m. Our youth pastor is a dynamic and powerful preacher that the teens and youth love to hear and hang out with. Don't miss this high-energy time of worship, word, friends and fun! Click here for more information about Wildfire Ministry.
Can I sample a sermon?
Yes. We have sermons and teachings in Microsoft Word that you can download for your viewing pleasure. Click here to read and/or download some of the powerful messages and teachings from many EFI Church ministers.
What is the story of Elijah's Fire International Church?
The best way to describe the unbelievable growth and influence of Elijah’s Fire International Church is "it's a God thing." Since the church opened its doors in November of 16, 1998 with just 6 people in the congregation, God has been actively involved in growing a church that is excited about the things that He is excited about. What do you believe?
EFI Church is a biblically-based church committed to meeting the needs of a hurting world, to preaching truth and to the maturity of the believer as we present the Gospel in creative and compelling ways. Click here for information on Our Purpose, or view our Statement of Faith by clicking here
